The botanist and the diaper

That title sounds like the title to some very strange book doesn't it? Well, I'm about to relate two seeminly unrelated things (and in the process, reveal my nerdiness).

1. I have a Masters degree in Botany
2. Sierra moved up from small to medium cloth diaper a couple days ago

With the new size, came a new cover, in a print called "jungle" that I had never seen before. As Sierra was crawling around in her diaper, I suddenly realized that I could identify one of the plants on her diaper cover. It was very clearly Monstera, a tropical plant with very distinct leaves. Scroll down in the link and check out the close up of the leaves. Then look at this:

See? That's clearly Monstera on my baby's bum! (and for the record, I'm way too excited that I identified a plant on my daughter's diaper)
