Pew!

Just as we were getting ready to head out the door, Sierra ran over to me and said "Pew! Pew!"

I checked ... and sure enough! She had a stinky diaper. This is the first time she has actually communicated that to me.

Does that mean that she's ready to potty train?

  1. We are "lightly" potty training as Ellie has been giving us signals (one being that she took off her dirty diaper and brought it to Jeff, another she got a diaper and brought it to us and signed diaper, etc). Yesterday we caught her putting dirty diapers IN the toilet. Oops. She gets that is where you put it though. ha ha. She also sat on her potty and grabbed some toilet paper and wiped her bits, even though we never taught her that (must have been watching mommy ahem). LOL. So, we don't expect her to be trained anytime soon but we figure what the heck. :)

  3. Haha, fun times! DD - nearly 20 months has been saying "kaka" (ukrainian for pew!) for about 4-5 months now. She sits on the potty, she puts her dirty diaper in the potty, she even pooped near the potty once and after sitting on the potty in random places many times. So far it just doesn't add up in her head that you have to poop *into* the potty... One day....
