My in-laws have been in town, so we've had a busy week. They left early this morning. They nearly snuck out while everyone was sleeping (can you believe that?!). I woke up about 6:30, and they were just finishing packing up. They told me to tell Jason and Sierra "good-bye" and they were going to get on the road. Well, since Sierra was stirring when I left the room, I told them I would make them a cup of coffee for the road and if she wasn't up by then, well, then we would just see them next week. Sure enough, a few minutes later, I hear "ba-bump! ba-bump! ba-bump!" hopping down the stairs.
Sierra ran into the kitchen and declared, "Hi! I have a good nap!" I honestly don't know how she wakes up so quickly. She hits the ground running. If she's awake, she goes.
Jason appeared a few minutes later, so everyone got to say "good-bye." Until next week. Really. One week until we leave for Montana!!! And Jason's parents are our first stop on what will be a very, very, veryveryvery looong drive (but totally worth it to spend 6 weeks in the mountains!)
