Taco Thursday in New Diggins is somewhat of a loose tradition when we visit my parents. New Diggings, WI (say "New Diggins") is not really much of a town, as it mostly consists of a bar on one side of the road ...
and not much else. As it turns out, though, the "bar on the other side of the road" has Taco Thursday with a good deal on tacos, so you can eat a lot for not a lot. This is the first time I've been there that their outdoor seating area was open and so we dined out there. Kaia spent dinnertime amusing her grandparents.
Sierra and Harmony were running around before dinner and chasing the resident cats, one of whom reminded us of our Sophie cat.
Sierra banged her knee. Luckily, Auntie Been (my sister's nickname) came through with a purple bandaid in her purse.
Mmmm, tacos!
Post dinner, we drove back along the country roads to my parents' house. These photos are mostly for the benefit of my Virginia friends, so that you can have a little taste of where I grew up (hello Virginia friends; we miss you!!)
