OCP Christmas program

The evening before we left for our Christmas in the Midwest Extravaganza, Sierra's preschool had a Christmas program.  There are two classes, Sierra's class, the younger kiddos are 2.5-3 years old.  The other class is a bit older, 3-4, they will be going into kindergarten next year.

Oh my goodness!  If cuteness could you, I would not have survived this evening.  They were just darling!

First up, "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."  All the preschoolers had red noses and ears.  Sierra was very deliberate in her preparation for this number and she nailed it!  She had "Rudolph" down!

All the preschoolers, reindeer noses and antlers, ready to go!

Next up, was "Jingle Bells."  The prop this time was a bell.  I think Sierra used up all her energy on "Rudolph" because she looked a little stunned for this sung.  She did great, though, and do did her little buddies.

The kids did a little skip about Christmas trees looking for a home.  Sierra got to play the part of a member of a family (with Sophia, Sara, and Xander) looking for a Christmas tree to bring home.  During the poem, the families would go find a tree, chop it down and then the child who was the tree would crawl off to the side.  Funny.

They ended with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and a great big bow.

After the program was over (11 minutes later), there was a secret santa gift exchange.  Each child had picked a classmate and we brought them a $5 gift to give.  Sierra had picked Lydia.

And she received a crayon roll from Sophia, which served us very well on our long, long, long car ride, which we began the next day.

Tommy was too busy to stick around for a second photo, but here are the girls: Sierra, Lydia and Sophia
