We don't get much snow here in Virginia. So, when we got about an inch of accumulation a couple of weeks ago, Jason jumped out the chance to take his little girls out for a romp in the snow.
I think it took him longer to get them ready to go outside than they actually spent outside. This was the first time Kaia was really able to experience the snow as a moving, playing kiddo. It was pretty fun to see her out there; she had a great time.
I went out to take a few pictures and then came back inside. A little while later, Sierra came in and asked me for a carrot. "A carrot? Why do you need a carrot?" "For the snowman's nose!" she exclaimed. I was a little shocked that Jason managed to get a snowman out of that little bit of snow, but sure enough: he did! A pretty good one too; it was taller than Kaia.
Sadly, the snow only lasted a day, and the remains of the snowman, another day beyond that. But we enjoyed it while it lasted!
