I've been a sporadic attendee at our local MOPS meetings this year. My attendance is not sporadic because I don't want to be there, but the meeting have fallen on days when I've been out of town (twice) and most recently, when Sierra had a preschool field trip. Our local group is set up in small groups with whom we sit during the meetings. Additionally, the leader of our small group tries to organize a play date each month.
In March, that play date was on a cool but lovely spring day at a play ground just outside of town that we hadn't visited before. So, it was a nice change of pace for the girls and nice for me to see some grown-up friends as well.
Sierra and Kaia had fun "driving" this car (Sierra especially), but I love how the shadow in this photo makes it look like Kaia has a ponytail! Ha ha!
Sierra was usually mass of constant movement and energy, up and down the slides, climbing on all the playground equipment. Kaia couldn't decided whether she wanted to try to keep up with the big girls ...
... or venture out on her own ...
... or stick with the other babies.
This pile of girls did a great job taking turns on the slide.
And the swings are always a favorite.
Then Shea showed up with her new puppy, which was a hit with everyone! How can you not love a cute, fuzzy, little puppy?
Kaia thought he was the greatest!
