More eggs! More hunting!

Several days after the Woodberry Easter Egg Hunt, Sierra's preschool had a field trip where they visited the library, the post office, and had an Easter Egg hunt at a nearby park.  The books that the librarian read that day were about owls.

And the craft they worked on was also an owl, complete with google-y eyes.  Gotta love google-y eyes!

Kaia's not quite ready to work with glue and google-y eyes, but she still enjoyed watching the big kids.

Then we left the library and walked several blocks together to the post office.

The ladies at the post office explained how the mail is sorted and delivered.

And told us how stamps get our letters to where we want them to go.

The preschoolers had all written a letter to bring to the post office.  Sierra drew a picture for Kaia.  We were thrilled to get it in our mail a couple days later!

Next up, we were off to the park for our Easter Egg hunt!  Kaia is ready to go (she's got this egg hunt thing down now!).

Well, she's got the egg hunt thing sort of down.  She hunts well with direct supervision, but when she has acquired an egg, she would rather open it than look for more!

All the eggs are found and it's time for some fun on the playground!

Sierra was busy playing so Kaia took off with both Easter baskets!

One of our friends brought a bubble machine that was a whole lot entertainment for the preschoolers.

And the not-yet-preschoolers!
