Oh, my poor neglected blog. Time for a few updates, I would say. Actually, the grandparents have been harassing me about a lack of photographs again, so I'd better get with the program.
At the end of March, Sierra's preschool took a field trip to the police station and then they headed to the library for Story Time.
Sierra and her best buddy Sophia had to share a chair in the lobby while they waited for the tour of the police station to begin.
We were given a tour of the police station by the chief of police himself! He introduced himself and then told our sweet preschoolers to be sure they didn't ask any question unless they raised their hands first. Ha. They're not quite there, yet.
After we saw the work spaces of the police officers and the interview room, we went outside to look inside a police car.
The chief asked if the kids knew why the back seat was divided from the front seat and one of our kids said, "That's where the villains go!"
Kaia had to go back and check out the police car when all the big kids were out of the way!
After the police station, we headed to the library for Story Time. There were stories, and songs, and a craft to work on.
Kaia was moderately interested in the stories but she found some baby friend to hang out with during craft time.
Yeah! A new post...from March?
