Woodberry Easter Egg Hunt

The week before Easter, Woodberry had the annual Easter Egg Hunt for all the children on campus.  The girls and I grabbed some baskets and headed up the hill to campus where the hunt was taking place.

Almost there!

We were one of the first to arrive, so we had a great time greeting all our friends as they came.

Before the Easter Egg Hunt begins, the children gather on the steps for a group photo.  Kaia, Sophia, and Sierra are waiting as patiently as possible for the festivities to get started.

Kaia says "hello" to her young friends, Maggie and Peyton.

A few more kiddos begin to fill in on the steps.

The girls are joined by Elizabeth, Harper, and Reiss.

Babies are leaving!  Come back babies!  I took so many photos here, several with adult backsides as they return one of the non-compliant young wanderers back to the steps.

This one worked out pretty well!

Photo over, it's time to go!  Littlest kids first!

Kaia was getting the idea to find the eggs and put them in the basket.  Then I asked Ms. Rob to keep an eye on her to I could go see where Sierra had run off too.

Sierra wanted to open every single egg right away!

I love this picture of Sierra and Sophia running off to find some Easter Eggs.  That's the residence in the background, our headmaster's house, designed by Thomas Jefferson for William Madison.

Mama and her girls; I wish Jason could have been there, too!

I tried to get a photo of Sierra, Sophia, and Harper.  Reiss decided to join in the fun, too, and not one photo has Sierra looking at me because she was far too interested in opening those eggs and showing me what was inside.  "Look!  There's a chick in here!" "Can I eat this candy?"
