A quick trip to Richmond

In the last week before we left for two months, our dear friends, Bill and Kate, were going to be in Virginia.  Now despite the craziness of finals, and the end of the school year, and packing to be away for 8 weeks, we had to make time to get away and visit these two wonderful people.

We met them in Richmond for lunch, and then I had the brilliant plan to find a near by park.  This was great because the girls could play and Jason and I actually had a chance to chat with our friends.

This is moss.  On a roof.  I took this photo for Jessica.  Because moss makes me think of Jessica.

Of course, we couldn't just sit and chat.  One of us, and then another, were convinced in rounds to go play with the girls on the playground.

And this is how we knew it was time to go home!
