Missouri: KC + STL

The last leg of our trip took us from Denver to Kansas City and then on to St. Louis for a bit before finally making it home nearly 8 weeks after we left.  We were originally going to try to leave extra early and drive all the way from Denver to St. Louis.  Thankfully, my cousin realized that idea was insane with two little kids and offered her place for an overnight.  That was a GREAT idea.  We arrived in KC around 4pm and not only was it nice to be finished driving for the day, it was fabulous to see the little cuz again (even though I just saw her in June for my little sister's wedding.  And she visited in May for the triathlon.  Now I haven't seen her since then.  I'm kind of in withdrawal).  

Next day, it was onward to St. Louis where we hung out at Grandma Diane and Grandpa Butch's for a few days, spent plenty of time in their pool because it was insanely hot outside, celebrated Eric's (a cousin) birthday with lots of family, and managed a few visits with friends.

Sierra had a fantastic time in the pool with her new buddy, Ellie!

Bob and Jen invited us for breakfast and we got to meet baby Ben for the first time.
