I actually OWN that sling and it was the first one I used. What I didn't like about it was that it jostled her too much because of how low she was and if you would lean forward at a store the sling would swing forward and she would bump her head. She DID rest very comfortably in it, but I was uncomfortable with her bopping her head and it made my lower back hurt (when I never have back pain).

When we got the sling from you we stopped using the others we had been using. I plan on using it with our next baby and even had planned on enlisting you to make (with pay) them for any future pregnant friends. :)

I didn't use my ring slings that I made much, only because I felt like I couldn't get her positioned in them correctly and I didn't feel like she was secure in them. But that's bc the ones I made didn't turn out at all like the ones you made and I felt like she was just swallowed up in the fabric. However, I wore her in the mei tai you made me ALL the time. She loved it and so did I.

Completely agree!! I also used the ring sling with both my girls. There are a few unsafe ways to use a ring sling, so I do think people should be careful to have someone knowledgable show them how to do it, but done right (which is easy) it is completely safe! And wonderful, just like you said! :o)

I also completely disagree with the stories implying that all slings are dangerous and shouldn't be used. Use them properly and they're safe. Lots of household items and cars, for that matter, can be dangerous when not used properly, should we never let our baby ride it a car because some people don't know how to properly fasten their babies into a safe car seat??

Jonathan loves the bath too! He would stay in it all day if he could. Now Bella, she HATES the bathtub. She doesn't mind her little tub, so long as it's in the sink, but don't put her little tub in the big tub or else she will scream.

WE got an AMAZING vac at Sams for less than $150. It is the Eureka Boss Smart Vac. Works sooooo great with our tons of pet fur. I wish you had asked. We love it! My mom went and got one after seeing how good it worked and so did my in-laws. :)

Wow! I'm definitely impressed you made it to the gym for lifting after a night like that AND while pregnant! :o) It is good for you, though, as long as you can sleep sometime too. Hope you get that nap!

After lifting between 2-3x a week all January when I didn't teach a J-term class I've had to cut back to 1x a week now that I'm crazy busy with classes again. But at least I'm consistantly going and I'm getting stronger!

Sorry hun. Hope tonight is better for you. Abbie always has bad sleeps in cycles. Great for a week or two, horrible for a few days, etc. Hope Sierra's "bad cycle" is only two days and she'll be back on track tonight.

The only show that Ellie will watch is Sesame Street (she is very keen on the abc's and likes to call Elmo "Mo"). She LOVES the India Arie and Elmo sings the ABCs on you tube. I like the count singing the Batty Bat song on You tube. The Arie one has been known to help her fall asleep (cackles).
Your house is so tidy. You should come clean mine. ;)

Yay! For our girls if we put them to bed EARLIER they would sleep longer (crazy, I know!) But bedtime for that age was around 7:30, and Claire would sleep til 6-6:30. Lise (10 months) is on that same schedule now. If we put them to bed later (after 8pm) they always wake up much earlier!! Silly kids!
Good luck, sleeping is tough! (I thought it was the hardest thing - but then came potty training!! :)
